Every aspect of this place was exceptional. I had the Tejana Enchilada. It was slightly spicy with right amount of sauce. One of best I've ever eaten. We ordered the jalapeño corn bread and was equally delicious. We finished our meal with a blonde with ice cream. The service was amazing. Our server was engaging and was really excited about the food. He explained every aspect of our choices from the locally sourced ingredients to the history of how it ranks on the menu. One of the best service experiences I've ever had. This place is just beyond great. If you are anywhere near Round Rock you must go here.

A tasty treat for lunch. As interesting lunch menu with some characteristic menu twists I feel are noteworthy. Like the special of that day was a Philly Steak sandwich of sorts with deep fried jalapeño and stuff. It was good. The wife had a bowl of today’s soup. Again good. Server was good. I had dread on the menu that every team member knows everything. I tested ours on the familiar and unfamiliar faces on the walls in artwork. She knew them all or she was BS’n me on the one. All good. Good food, drinks and service. I will stop again if given the opportunity. CritDicks

Had such a great experience here! The food was delicious and came out warm, and the service was fast even though it was packed during lunch 🙌 The sweet tea was honestly the best I’ve ever had 🧋 and they even gave us a small complimentary appetizer, which was such a nice touch. I also loved that as soon as the food was ready, someone from the kitchen brought it straight to the table instead of waiting for a server—it made everything come out even faster. They have a large bar area along with plenty of booths and tables, so there’s a good mix of seating options. I didn’t see many kids during my visit, but it’s definitely a kid-friendly spot too. Overall, amazing food, great service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Another amazing experience at Jack Allen's Kitchen. The enchiladas and the meat were incredibly juicy. I was really craving something tender that just melts in your mouth, and this dish completely hit the spot. It honestly felt like such an indulgent, unforgettable bite. The cookie pie was served warm and practically melted in your mouth, and the ice cream on top took it to another level. Easily one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in a while. 100% recommended.

Enjoyed lunch with several friends from the Round Rock Chamber. Our server was attentive and friendly. The noise level was perfect for us to have a great lunch meeting and still hear our conversation. The menu has a lot of options and our server helped a couple of friends who had never been there with selections. We enjoyed all the food if we had one little nitpick it would be that the Fried Green Tomatoes had too much batter to tomato ratio. While it was still tasty we would have preferred to be able to taste the tomato as well.
